Engaged by construction company AW Edwards, the brief was to provide new branding identity for the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District incorporating wayfinding and signage elements.
The solution provides navigational elements that distinguish between public and restricted access areas within and around the Nepean Hospital’s campus while reinforcing brand identity.
Once approved, design elements were developed into a catalogue of external and internal sign types to be implemented, as budgets allow, throughout Nepean Hospital’s campus.
All external signage for public access and back of house locations were individually identified within a hundred page tender package style guide.
The internal signage style guide illustrates signage categories to be implemented once professional wayfinding schedulling has been completed within the hospital’s buildings.
Approximately two thirds of all specied external signage has been installed while internal signage has been installed within the Hospital’s Mental Health Centre and SubAcute ward.
